Description: These comprehensive, sport-specific workshops cover material related to exercise regimens for the serious or weekend athlete. Each workshop details sport-specific related anatomy and kinesiology, as well as biomechanics, common injuries, performance assessment tests, and specific training protocols. These workshops are great for trainers looking to develop a clientele in specific sports arenas, as well as for seasonal promotions within any size fitness facility.
Objectives: Students completing this workshop will possess superior knowledge of the biomechanics necessary to enhance performance in each sport. Students will learn sport-specific anatomy, kinesiology, and related training protocols. Students will be able to recognize biomechanical flaws and implement training protocols needed to correct them so as to optimize client performance and minimize risk of injury.
