The Core: Anatomy & Stability Training
Description: The goal of core stability is to effectively balance the involved muscles so that a reduction in pressure on the lumbar spine can be achieved. By doing so, we dramatically reduce the likelihood of injury. This course examines the relevant anatomy of the core along with proper and improper ways of addressing such. This class will include a hands-on portion to help identify core stabilization and how to build on this with clients. This is part I of a two-part class. This class is for all levels of fitness professionals.
Objectives: Students completing this workshop will possess an introductory level of anatomy and kinesiology as it relates to core stabilization. Students will have the ability to implement specific protocols based on their findings and their clients’ fitness goals.
